A flexi retractable leash is a highly complex precision product. What began with the conversion of a chain saw starting mechanism 40 years ago, has grown to a high-tech product leading all developed markets worldwide.

Location

Tradition, innovation and quality made in Germany
The flexi-Bogdahn Group, a family owned business, manufactures all of its high quality products in their facility in Bargteheide, near Hamburg, Germany. From the idea to the finished product, all flexi leashes are manufactured under one roof. “Made in Germany” simply at its best.

International

Using high technology to become a global brand
Quality, functionality, safety and design distinguish flexi leashes. Worldwide millions of dog lovers are excited about the original. They love the technique, quality, smooth retracting mechanism and the ease of handling. Today, flexi retractable leashes are exported to nearly 90 countries around the world – with the label “Made in Germany”.

Awards signify values. This is especially true for awards from international trade magazines and organizations from the pet sector. As the pacesetter for innovation, in 2010 flexi was awarded the honor of becoming a Brand of the Century by “German Standards”. Other international awards include the “Consumer‘s Digest Best Buy” Award, the “red dot design award” and the “Editor‘s Choice Award” by the American “Dog Fancy” magazine.
