Coastal Pet has been manufacturing pet products and providing exceptional customer service since 1968. A family-owned, American manufacturer, Coastal Pet is committed to leading the industry with innovative, quality pet products that enrich the interactions between pets and their owners. We proudly manufacture a vast array of collars, leashes and harnesses at our state-of-the-art facility in Alliance, Ohio. This includes handcrafted leather and the majority of our nylon products.

Coastal Pet acquired Bergan Pet in March of 2015. It was a natural fit because the values of both companies are well-aligned. We share a passion to design, produce and deliver the highest quality products to the pet industry.

Today‘s manufacturing facility is just under 400,000 square feet and we proudly offer more than 7,500 SKUs. We design in-house proprietary machines to best suit our unique manufacturing processes, and automation also plays a pivotal role enabling Coastal Pet to yield more products, especially in nylon and leather.

Coastal Pet also has an in-house testing laboratory and frequently performs tests on all of our products to maintain a high level of quality in both materials and workmanship.

In addition, Coastal Pet is proudly known for our stellar logistics. With 99.9% accuracy in shipments and consistent on-time delivery, we are the industry leader in accurate/on-time delivery.

Coastal Pet History

Coastal Pet Products, Inc. was founded in 1968 by brothers Jim and Tom Stout.

Our first facility was built in 1974 and employed 10 people. During those early years, we became one of the leading pioneers in the collar and leash industry by utilizing nylon webbing instead of traditional leather.

As the industry grew and matured, so did Coastal Pet.
