Reef One Ltd are manufacturers of the biOrb range of products. As passionate fish keepers ourselves, we wanted to make fish keeping accessible to as many people as possible. We looked at the common failures that befall new fish keepers and designed new ways to help avoid them.

The biOrb combined new technology with stylish designs and eliminated the need for lots of expensive equipment by putting everything you need in one box. We made it easy to set up and get started in fishkeeping.

Backed up with good customer service and an ongoing commitment to quality, we're proud that biOrb is now an established brand with over a million aquariums sold worldwide.

Our Company Profile

Reef One Ltd (the manufacturers of biOrb) was established in 1999 with the design of our first aquarium. In the early days we sold just one size of biOrb and a replacement filter.

When we started we asked ourselves a question. "Is there a way to make aquariums simpler to maintain and easier to own?"

We started to think about aquarium design in new ways. We thought about what fish need and we thought about you, the home aquarist. We really wanted to get the fundamentals right.

Next we set out to make the best quality products we know how. We wanted them to be so good, that you'd want to tell your friends about them.

Today, there are over a million biOrb owners worldwide.

Where it All Began

As enthusiasts we were disappointed with the aquariums on offer to us, so in 1999 we set out to make an aquarium we wanted to own. The idea for the original biOrb was born.

At the time, we had a phone, a prototype and an empty order book. But in October 2000 that changed.

We got our first order.

Development

We go to extraordinary lengths to make our products good enough. Parts are often tested to destruction, re-engineered and tested again. And again.

We have a team who run a continuous cycle of testing and refining.

OASE UK Ltd Today

Since our first order in October 2000, we‘ve sold over 1,000,000 biOrbs in countries all around the world. Our product range has also grown to include plants, décor and accessories.

What‘s next? It‘s a good question. We haven‘t lost our pioneering spirit. As we see it, innovation isn‘t something you do once and then stop. New ideas excite us and we‘re always innovating new products. When they‘re good enough we‘ll launch them for you to enjoy.

Everything you‘ll need to get started is included. Built-in LED lighting, a pump, filter and easy to follow full colour instructions.

You‘ll soon be having fun creating aquascapes inside your new biOrb.
